Train with Sand gear does not include sand due to carrier restrictions. This in includes all Sandbags, Kettlebells, Medicine Balls, and Sand Ruck Plates.
We recommend using standard all-purpose sand from a local hardware store if you don’t have access to a beach. Other fillers, such as pebbles or gravel, are not recommended, as sharp edges can damage your gear.
Quikrete All-Purpose Sand works well and is a great option.
We suggest avoiding finer materials like play sand. Play sand can leak out of fillers and create dust inside your sandbag. Because it’s much finer, it also compacts more tightly, which can make fillers stiff and prevent them from fitting properly. Fillers should remain flexible enough to bend and move slightly inside the sandbag.
