We use the best zippers in the world—but even the toughest gear has its limits. Repeated heavy impact, especially from unpadded plates, bricks, or sharp objects, can take a toll on zippers over time.
To help prevent damage, we recommend training with one of our Training Rucks and compatible Ruck Plates.
Damage caused by crushing, internal abrasion, or saltwater corrosion isn’t covered under the SCARS Lifetime Guarantee (a quick fresh-water rinse after ocean events goes a long way).
